Maghunos-dili ka!

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret- it leads only to evil.

– Psalm 37:8

Psalm 37:8 gently reminds us that anger is a burden too heavy for the heart to carry. Like a leaf resting on a quiet stream, we find peace when we stop resisting the current and trust God to guide us in His perfect wisdom and timing. Releasing resentment and worry allows the turbulence within us to settle, revealing the calm beneath.

This verse invites us to choose serenity over frustration and faith over fear. As a lake becomes clear when the winds grow still, our hearts become more peaceful when we let go of what we cannot control. In that stillness, patience, kindness, and hope can flourish, reflecting the quiet strength that comes from trusting in God.
