Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Luke 6:28

In a world where hurt is often met with hurt, Jesus invites us to choose a higher way. Rather than allowing harsh words or unfair treatment to harden our hearts, we can respond with kindness and prayer. This approach does not ignore the pain we experience, but it places our trust in God’s wisdom rather than our own desire to react.
When we choose compassion over resentment, we reflect the character of our Heavenly Father. Such love requires strength, humility, and faith, but it brings a peace that anger cannot offer. As we pray for others and seek their good, even in difficult circumstances, our hearts remain soft, our spirit remains calm, and God’s love shines more clearly through us.
Thought for the day: The higher way is not always the easiest path, but it is the one that leads to peace, grace, and a closer walk with God.
